Mount a TV in a 213X?

Hi Folks,

My 1st post - wuhoo! I'm going to introduce myself in the Welcome Mat area too.

In the meantime, I'm looking to mount a 24" TV in a Solaria 213X, but not sure where. My trailer, of course, isn't here for me to post a photo, but I was thinking beside the couch slide out near the front bunk. It looks like there may be space there.

I'll try to take photos if I can, but thought I would post in case anyone has mounted a TV in the 213X. We're not hardcore TV folks, but movies on a rainy day are a good thing

Thanks!
Brian

I dont have a picture handy but where you are talking is where i put mine. think its a 24", it cam with the unit. I basically centered the tv on that "nightstand" which covers the furnace. i used the table base as put one screw through it semi loose this way i can turn the tv in the direction i needed it for watching or packing up. we very rarely use it but its there.

I pretty much only put it there since that is where the plugs for it are. i think the wires would have been better run to another spot. would be tight fit but side of fridge would allow to see it from the couch table or bed, but not sure if the slide would clear it coming in. would be easy to run the wires under the couch to do that too.

Thanks! That is exactly where I am thinking, but up top above that nightstand. I might be able to get a brace up there and then use a vesa mount to have it hang down. Should be ok during travel I think.

But I like your method too. I thought about that fridge wall. It might fit, but it would be tight.

I'll keep you posted!

Cheers,
Brian

when testing and measuring for your first thoughts, keep in mind the canvas and mattress dont always fold up the same each time you close the bed. I would be concerned that might be hitting it. this is thinking from my office, not standing in my camper.
