palo extendable - manual slide operation

So who knows how to operate the slide manually on 2015 palo expandable, i have the 213x?

the guy doing my walk through was pretty good but didn't know the answer to this question, he pointed at a spot under my couch and said i guess that is where you could crank it. but more details and photos would be great. do i need to buy a special tool or would the basic tools i store in the camper (crescent wrench, pliers....) be sufficient?

ok don't yell at me, i know i should have told my walk through guy to find someone with the answer. LOL. long story short, it took longer than planned, most employees had gone home for the day and i had to get home. I did learn a ton that day though

I looked up that model and I see that the slide is an 'above floor' style. These are now typically Schwintek in wall drive but your's is not. As it's 'above floor', the drive system is inside the camper under the sofa. There should be removable panel(s) on the sofa to access the drive. You should have a crank handle that will fit on the drive stub of the gearbox to extend/retract manually.

Thanks Dave, there is a small area that i can look under the sofa, would be tough to get in there and crank it. Only crank handle i received was for the stabilizer jacks. I will investigate more, see if a socket would fit on there.

was reading another thread here about slide motors that should always be electronically cranked all the way in and out, never part way. Will have to look back and see if that is the case with mine
