To save time and money, spent a lot of both already, I just moved the light higher. Hole is covered and everything is sealed. Just in time cuz rain is coming

Nice when a plan and a mod come together to a good conclusion...

Thanks. First real mod I've done. So many I'd like to do but too scared to screw something up. I'm handy to any extent. Better at fixing something than building new. The panel above my fridge is begging to be opened and made into storage, I'll get the courage to take a chance on it one day.

B, I thought of adding a box similar to the one you have, but it would hit the bumper in a tight forward turn. So, I found this one, sits below the frame between the rails. And, doesn't interfere with the light. I did have to design and fabricate the mount, not to mention redoing the front mount after installing the Andersen hitch and adding two more 6 volt battereies. The two bottom photos is before the last redo. I also have added an electric tongue jack since then.

Nice job. I looked at boxes like that but wanted more space. I about Jack knifed the trailer one day to see if I had room and I should be fine. Haven't tested with it on yet. Next year I plan to add another battery and possibly solar

Thanks; it is crowded in there. But also holds cords, EMS and a little more. When adding that much weight consider carefully the TW. I needed more and figured the pro outweighed the con. Rule of thumb: try to match battery total AH to solar panel watts. I have 460AH with 450w in panels. A 30A PWM controller works well. I can run the fridge on 120vac all day while traveling and not get below 80% battery capacity. Saved propane and is safer.

Did you get that in black or did you paint it?
