Bed Closing

We bought our 2016 191T used, even though I don't think the previous owners used it!!!

It was completely set up when we looked at it and did the walk-thru. When we got it home the bed were of course closed and they closed the mattresses up in the bed.

So my question is should I remove the mattresses to close the beds or just close the mattresses up with the beds? I can't find any videos or directions in manuals from Forest River. Any help would be appreciated.

You shouldn't need to remove the beds.

They should have snaps built into them that attach to the fold doens. They are meant to stay in that position

It also helps to put the hoop under the matress when folding down, while not absolutely necessary when done like this there is less pressure on the door and easier to close.

Don't forget when you close up the bunk ends make sure all windows are shut and turn on your exhaust fans are on full. It makes closing up the bunk ends easier , it really works
