Cool Help! Water Damage

Hi All
I am brand new to this forum and brand new to camping.
I just bought a 2004 Surveyor Lite 180T. I was cleaning it up and airing it out when I noticed some moderate water damage to the front bunk. What do I do? We are talking about rotting wood where the hinges are.
Thanks

at this point, you already own it.
if you bought from a dealer, take it back as soon as possible.

if you bought from a private party, it'd be worth calling them and asking what the heck is going on!

bottom line, the whole door needs to be replaced. you'll have to order one from Surveyor or thru a Surveyor dealer.

the sill area around the hinge may need work, too.

Thanks

Thank you for your post.
It is a bit overwhelming at this point. I'm pretty handy and I saw a youtube video of a gentleman fixing this problem at home.
I will take your advice and call Surveyor because I want the root of the problem fixed.
