Missing Bed Straps?

Just purchased a used 233T. When the bed ends are closed, is there some type of straps used to keep the mattresses in place? We have opened and closed the beds only once and getting ready for the first campout. The smaller rear bed mattress seems to be stored well, but the larger front mattress is a mystery. Not sure how/where to place mattress when traveling. I assume there is some type of way to store the mattress in the front bed area.

there should be. it might help knowing what year it is, since features often change, year to year.

the Roo/Shamrock hybrids had a snap system, with snapping straps on the sides and outside of the mattress, that snapped to the outside edges of the inside of the bunk door.

the previous owner may have replaced the OEM mattress.
are both mattresses the same?

It is a 2005 and the mattresses are OEM. I do see snaps on both mattresses.

you mean straps with snaps, correct?
if so, then the side of the bunk door that the mattress is on, should have the opposite type of snap screwed into the door, close to where the straps are.
maybe the doors were replaced and the snaps weren't installed. that happened to one of my bunk doors. i still can fold the mattress and keep it against the door when it's stored up. it gets trapped between the canvas and the door.

here's a pic of someone's else Roo 23SS and the mattress straps attached to the door:

Thanks for the picture! I will have to see if any of our doors have those snaps! I am hoping our Surveyor can store the mattresses like your pic.
