New Surveyor 294 - questions

Picked up our new 2010 Surveyor 294 today - Yeah.
It was 65 degrees on thursday. Snowed last night and it is now 28 degrees
Not the best weather today - but we still got it home!

Questions:
1) where is the water filter canister located at?
2) where is the water pump located at and does it have an antifreeze bypass kit?
3) my camper came with a generic forest river owners manual - is there a 294 or at least a SURVEYOR manual available?

Thanks in advance for any help. We can't wait for spring to *really* come to our neck of the woods. Got a 5 and 9 yr old who can't wait to try out the bunk house!

Congratulations!

On my surveyor trailer the water filter and winterizing kit is located under the sink in the bathroom (just remove the bottom panel). I'm not positive it is there on your model. Hope this helps! I'm not sure about the manual.

The winterizing bypass on my SV291 is actully under the Pantry, with the waterpump in the bathroom under the sink. I found the bypass this past summer by accident while replacing the pantry drawer glides. When we bought the trailer, our dealer said he didn't believe they came with a bypass so I installed a kit next to the waterpump the first year we had it.

As a option, you can use compressed air to blow out all the water lines instead of using anti-freeze.

The person doing our walk through and orientation of our trailer "thought" that the filter was under the left rear bunk near the water heater. Looks like I would need to remove some screws to get to it if it was....
Also I was curious where the manual slide crank access was (in case the power slide didn't work)? I always like to know where these things are before I "have" to use them

pardon me but isn't the 294 model a standard TT, not an expandable?
shouldn't this be posted in the Ultra-Lite section?

just asking.

You're right... I posted in the expandable surveyor by mistake. As a newbie poster, I accept my 50 lashes

there should be a tab on the slide motor to crank it in and a crank handle to match
