No hot water.

Hey everybody. I have a 2015 forester surveyor. 191t. I'm have a problem with the hot water. I took it out for the first time this weekend. Filled the fresh water tank and turned on the valves under the seat. I let the hot water tap run to fill up the tank the. Switched the start button on for the gas to heat it up. The tank did light up. Saw the flame in back. We left for a bit and ce back turned on the tap and had hot water for about 30 seconds. Then nothing. I turned the gas switch off and tried the electric heater. Same thing. Hot water for about 30 seconds. Any ideas?

The fact that you saw it light and it did heat SOME water indicates the heater is working. I'd look at the bypass valves. Sounds like hot and cold water are mixing. If you have an outside shower sometimes the valves on that are left open allowing hot and cold water to mix at that point, too.

Agreed, by pass valves are turned incorrectly "behind wh" and or outside shower valves are on mixing hot and cold water.
