SP234T Water leak while beds closed

I have a 2010 SP234T Hybrid with fold out beds. The front bed gets water pooling in folded canvas only when bed is closed. If camper is set up with beds open, no water infiltration into camper. With beds closed, water somehow gets onto canvas, and when you open bed up, about a gallon of water will pour onto the mattress if you're not careful.
Anybody seen this before? Is it just the seal around the bed fold out?
Any info would be helpful.
Thanks a million.

there are a number of possible causes.

one could be the marker lights above the bunk door. many have bad caulking and rain/water gets through and drains down.
one could be the bunk door is bowed and is not sealing in the top middle of the bunk door.
one could be bad/compressed seals on the top of the bunk door frame.
