Surveyor Hybrid leaking around bed.

My new Surveyor has been leaking around one of the beds when the rain blows a certain direction. My dealership has loaded it down with silicone to contain it. I think I should get a new canvas because the silicone will give away a leak again.
Folks that have a hybrid does your leak?

My Roo doesn't leak. I think if you keep taking it back, they will eventually fix it properly. Sometimes you need to request they replace the whole thing. Tell them what you told us, all the silicone is looking ridiculous and they should replace the canvas. Have the done a water hose test? I'm not sure what direction the water has to be falling in, but a hose will help dins any leaks....

All the disruption around the tent leaking has allowed water to get behind the fiberglass and the wood is delaminating now. Now we're getting an estimate from a local body shop to repair! !!

even without the $150 second year factory warranty, it should still be a warranty issue.
have you contacted Surveyor's warranty dept.?

I personally haven't gotten the factory involved but the dealer has. The factory wanted the two tents that were leaking and instead of replacing them they repaired small tears in the fabric located in the top corners of the canvas. This fix didn't slow down one leak that was coming from the seal. So this is when the dealer loaded it up with silicone which has momentarily stopped it but in my opinion this is a temporary solution. I guess I'm going to have to call forest river myself.
