I change my filter every few months, and take it out over the winter when not in use. I found the filter is the same size as a whole house filter from LOWES or HOME DEPOT for 1/2 te price as an RV retailer, FYI

normally within a foot of your water pump .
you didnt mention a model for your camper . we would need that to correctly identify where it might be

my flagstaff tt 2006 832 bhss it was under the clothing cabinet across from bathroom behind a panel that needed to be screwed off.

In my 2011 sabre 32 bhok-6 its in the basement on left side .

I change my filter yearly when i winterize it . I take it out in the fall and back in the spring .

you should not leave it in for winterization if that is somthing you need to do .

As an add on

By the way does a FEMA Cherokee Lite 28a+ have a water filter? If so, does anyone know where it is located? Thank you.

Our's is under the sink by the bathroom. You have to remove a panel to get to it. I dont like the way they installed it, it's hard to get to and do anything.

i seriously doubt that a FEMA trailer came with a water filter. FEMA trailers were bareboned units without many luxuries.

by the way, you posted in the Surveyor Hybrid owners section here at FRF.
it's always better to post in your type/brand's section or the Tech and Repair section and to start your own post, since this one would be viewed by Surveyor owners, mainly.
