Thanks for the info ibjon, that is what I am afraid of. I added on the extreme weather package a week after sending in the order. I was told by my dealer that I may or may not get it added. I can't believe that they use such a small furnace. I overlooked it when I was shopping for a TH. Since I do a lot of dry camping, this concerns me. I don't foresee myself camping when its in the 20's at night, but I can see camping when it's in the 30's. A furnace that is constantly running, will drain the batteries very fast. Before I ordered the 24HFS, I looked strongly at the Keystone Fusion FZ260. It is 3 feet longer then the 24HFS, but it has a 35,000 BTU furnace.
The Hyperlite's need a 30,000 BTU furnace, not a 20,000. I backed away from the Fusion because of its weight and length. I guess time will tell. I get my new camper any day now.
