2013 XLR 27 HFS Hyper lite furnace gas, elect or both?

Is the furnace in the 27 hfs gas, electric or both?

I'm pretty sure only gas. Wouldn't think it would be electric

Thanks, I wasn't sure. Tried looking through all my manuals for the one for the furnace and couldn't find it. Never had to use my furnace my living in south Louisiana. Lol

There are no factory installed electric furnaces. There is one aftermarket system that is available, but has not received very good reviews here, but I don't know of anyone that has actually installed one.

fridge/freezer and most water heaters are both propane and electric, but the furnace is only propane.
that's why many who have electric hookups when camping, use a ceramic heater or oil-filled radiator to help supplement the propane furnace.

Just to clarify - it's gas only for heat generation, but uses electricity for the blower that sends the heat through the unit.
