I haven't seen a fuel filter on it. I am planning on leaving fuel in it. I will be adding Startron to it for the winter.

One thing I found out though, when I first tried to fill the tank up I found I had to have the left side higher than the right in order for the fuel to drain into the tank correctly. Forest river didn't put the fill hose at an angle so if you don't do this it tends to flow back out onto you. That really sucks.

Startron for Diesels is the best - it can be used for BOTH gas and diesel and you use less for gas then you for the gas only Stratron. I run diesel trucks for a living - - when I haven't used the Startron in the fuel for a week or so my mpg drops about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon - it pays for itself!!
