2013 XLR 27HFS new owner.
Hi there, we just took delivery of a new 2013 27hfs. Been lurking on this forum for a few weeks. Lots of great info. Went to the dealer well armed and was lucky enough that our local dealer in Missoula is excellent. This trailer came with the 4400# axels.
Just have a couple questions. There are 2 switches in the bathroom, one for the light and cant figure out what the other one is for.
Also, what kind of interest rates are you guys getting. The best the dealer could do was 6.9%. I am sure there has to be better rates out there. Names of loaners would be great as well.

open vent and turn dial to 1 2 or 3 then turn switch on .

Thank you! The vent in the bathroom appears to be manual only with a switch on the fan its self. I tried several different combos and still cant see or hear anything activated.
Glad to be here. Thanks!

I also put my label maker to use for a couple of things in my trailer. It made finding the right switch easier in the beginning.
You should be able to find some discussions on Interest Rates by doing a search. If you don't find what you are looking for please let me know.

Interesting, I had just tossed it up to a non-wired switch to the fan.

New owner of a 27HFS here and first post too.
I have the same question. Except my unknown switch is by the stove against the wall for the refrigerator. When we did the walk through with the dealer, he didn't know what the switch was for either.
I don't believe I have heated tanks though. How do you tell if you do? I have several wires going to each of my tanks. I was figuring those are for grounding though because of static electric build up on the plastic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The switch in the kitchen is for the fuel station. I believe it has to be on to run the built in generator as well. The tank heaters are black pads stuck to the bottom of the tanks. In plain sight. Most likely if you dont have them it is pre wired for them.

rah.rrt. I'm a little late on this conversation (new to site) but in my bathroom the second switch is for the vent fan. There is a switch on the vent fan itself, and then a switch on the wall near the lights. Turn the switch on the vent fan on, then the wall switch. I have the same set up for the garage fan also. Probably already figured this out by now.

On my 2013 XLR 35x12 that switch turns on the blue backlight behind the XLR Thunderbolt logo (on the stove backsplash). Perhaps it does the same on yours and the light is just not working?

It was as rah.rrt said, it was for the fuel station. It won't work unless that switch is on. This prevents people from just coming up and using it without permission.

That is quite a lot of fuel! Love it. Do you have to drain it after every use or just pump it into your TV? Is there a fuel filter? Hate to ask all the newby questions.
