All brands have problems.
I have the 2014 300x14 and it's been in and out of the shop for various items, all fixed under warranty by FR.
Here is my theory...
Get the 2nd year bumper to bumper warranty and take full advantage of it...take the camper back until it's perfect.
Your dealer will know you by name when you pull in and they will want to take care of you.
I've done the same process with the previous 6 I've owned.

We purchased a 300x12 a few months ago from a wholesaler in Ohio. It's been on 5 trips so far and no issues that need warranty service.
The drawers in the nite stand opened while traveling and I opened the bedroom slide and broke off some wood molding.

Not happy with the location of the fresh water tank drain,I plan on repiping to new location.

This toy hauler is great and we are very happy with our selection. We researched toy haulers for months and decided on XLR Thunderbolt.

Good luck on what ever toy hauler you select.

Kulas,
Please post up your fix/mod for the fresh water drain location when you get it done.
It's a pain to crawl under the rig to drain.
I've been brainstorming how I want change it but I haven't come up with a good fix yet.
Thanks

Vquad-
I pushed a 1/2" piece of pex pipe in a gap between under belly and the frame near the rear tire and the rear jack.

I cut the old fitting off and installed a push on Plastic push on 90 deg pex fitting. ( lowes) .
I extended the end of the pipe between the two gas fill ports.
I will seal and support everything once I pick up more materials .
Black caulk, metal pex straps and valve.
I also plan on installing valve on the end to replace the fitting/ cap.

Hope this idea helps.
