2015 nitro xlr 39dks5 who paid what?

No generator, no winter package, the 1 ac unit big air package, rear screen and patio, rear bunk and sofa bed thing, gas station. Can't think of the other packages off the top of my head.

$43000 just curious what everyone else got for deals on the same unit.

do you guys have some pics of your campers? im looking at the 305 and wanted to know what it looks like in the real world hooked up to a truck. Do you think the front cap actually makes a difference towing? THanks

If there's a good crosswind I get blown around if there's not I've gone 95 without any issues.

How tight can you turn? Would it contact the cab if you tried 90 deg. I am thinking a companion or Anderson to save some money. I just don't want to regret it later. Thanks

With a short bed and no slider, yes you can contact your truck in a tight turn if your not paying attention. You can also contact a tree backing into a campsite if your not paying attention. The key is to pay attention.... You'll be fine. No slider for me. If I was to get one I'd get a Demco auto slider but it's too heavy to pull in and out at a moment's notice so I guess I have to keep on paying attention...LOL. People get hung up on 90 degrees. You NEVER get 90 degrees with a TT and no one sweats it. Not sure why it's so important with the 5th wheel crowd...

This is what happens when you don't pay attention with your short bed truck. This was my second time out with the new XLR. It was definitely a duh moment on my part, but it's only gonna happen once!

I have a Ford with the factory (Reese Elite) prep as my tow vehicle so I have a Reese Elite 25k hitch that drops right in.

Sorry, I forgot about your moment Tony...

F350 dually w/8 foot bed pulling a 415. I have to do a full 90 degree turn entering or leaving my driveway...everytime. I have the Husky 26K adjusted 3" low and 2" forward.

I have a couple questions if it's not to much trouble. ...

How sharp would you say you can turn?
How much distance do you have between the camper and your bed rails?
What is the distance from the center of the king pin to the back edge of your truck?
I'm trying to compare to if I use a companion or Andersen.

Everything is out of the truck for winter. When the snow is gone I'll take some pics of how sharp I can turn. My 5th wheel has a v front so That helps for my turning I'd say. I've never had to make a 90 but close I'd say and without 0 issues.

I just ordered th nitro 305 also with the v front. I have to get a hitch in the next few weeks. So you won't have to worry about it. I am thinking Anderson or companion if I don't need a slide. I don't want rails in my truck. I measured for the turn over ball and was surprised it was in front of the axel. But thanks anyways.
