Similar to the way I did ours, but I put a bungee cord from the 2 mounts just to make sure they stay while traveling. Click image for larger version

Darvinstone, how did you add the switch for the water heater? That is one thing I want to do. my Keystone had the switch inside and I dont understand why XLR does not. Thanks

bmallik, I ordered the switch from Amazon and purchased 25 ft roll of white 14/2 with ground from Home Depot. You should have a 14/2 wire that runs from your 15 amp HW tank breaker to a standard female 120 volt outlet near your HW tank. Your HW tank should have a standard male plug that plugs into the outlet. I unwired the outlet and extended the wires back to the switch and ran new wire from the switch back to the outlet. Basically, you are installing the switch between the outlet and breaker. You will also need to purchase a single gang old-work bracket for mounting the switch to the wall. I attached web links of these items. Hope this helps, let me know if you need additional information.

Thanks. How difficult was it to get the wire pulled up to the switch.

It wasn't too bad. I pushed the wires through existing wiring holes from the basement up the wall.

Installed the RV SnapPads today....see attached pictures and short YouTube video of my installation. Also took some pictures of my Sanitube Super-Slider expandable telescoping sewer hose carriers.

Finished the TST tire monitor system and power cord reel installation today. I should have had the TST from day one, I took a big change for not having it. The MoRryde reel is really nice to have when storing the 50 AMP power cord.

Lookin good Stan! I want to get the TST system and cord reel too. I'm tired of wrestling that damn power cord at the end of every trip.

Thanks Tony, your right that cord does get heavy. I also like the idea of being able to wrap a cloth around it to clean as you roll it in.

I also purchased the Wirie long range wifi system, will try to get it installed this weekend if it quits raining.
