Thanks
We just purchased a 2015 Viper 305V12. I measured it and it is 74" from front of camper to center of pin. We tow with a short bed Dodge. Hope this helps.

They all use the Lippert 1621, 1621HD, and 1621SHD (all three have the same dimensions, just heavier gauge steel as you go up the line for heavier GVWR's) just like most manufacturers out there. You can look on Lippert's website for the specs.

Sorry miss read that, and yes its a XLR Viper. They discontinued the Viper line but the 305V12 and the Nitro 305VL5 floor plans are the same. If you need me to measure it let me know.

I just keep it in a Rubbermaid container with a snap on lid....waterproof and keeps any odors in.

GKN... Looks good. I knew they used to be vipers but I thought they were older as I saw some 2015 nitro as well. What hitch are you using?

Thanks Bmallak, now we are just waiting on spring to get to use it. I have the Pro Series 16K with a slider that we needed for our old camper. Hope to not have to use it as often with this camper. I may be upgrading to a 20K soon just because I don't like to be on the high end of the limit all the time. Any idea on when your unit will be in?

It was ordered a week ago. they say 8-12 weeks. How far can you turn with yours without using the slider. I am about to order a 20k superglide just for the peace of mind. I have gotten mixed answers on whether the slide is needed with the v front or not.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to check that yet. We picked our unit up on Dec. 18th and it has been parked since. Long story short my truck was in the body shop and had to have wife's cousin tow it home for me... that sucked not being able to tow my new camper home.
