2017 xlr 29 hrs slide out gap when out

Just bought a 2017 xlr 29 hfs tt and was wondering if the slide out is supposed to go all the way out flush with the wood molding or so all of them have a 1 inch plus gap from the wall any info would be great. Talked to 2 different dealers 2 different answers sent forest to be a email still no answer . Thanks for any input

One inch+ gap is normal. Wood will not be flush. Check the spur gear and actuator under slide out. You'll see that actuator has fully extended to slide out stop switch.
