2018 Hyper Lite 29HFS storage ideas

Has anyone done any creative stotage or shelving in the upper cabinet over the radio in the livingroom? I am looking for ideas in adding storage or shelves in that cabinet.

Way back when, I added 2 shelves to the pantry cabinet equidistant between the existing shelves. I ran / screwed 1x2 around the 3 sides; then laid 1/4" plywood on the strips. I think these made the space more usable.

Hey Clint, good to see you! Been a while. To the OP, are you talking about the pantry or the cabinet above the TV?

I added two shelves but did not install them permanently. I used a 1" X 1" post in the corners and middle of each shelf. I did this to allow for future adjustments or just total removal. I also added a pullout computer shelf in the slot beside the radio. Other mods was adding shelves in the closets beside the bed, a silverware drawer, a cutting board stove cover, stick on back splash on the kitchen and bathroom walls, and another shelf in the cabinet above the television.

I'm sure I will never be done with changing up the inside and outside of the XLR!

Zoom's looks better than mine. I thought about using these (link below) with 3/4" birch plywood, but I don't think I would ever have a burning desire to adjust them. You could use them with only one set of holes.

I wonder about the space under the bed and under the kitchen dining area. Could those be opened up for extra, easy access storage or are the cushions over them for a reason?

Here is what I did under the bed in ours:

The space under the cushions in the dining area is accessible. Just remove the cushions and lift up the plywood. We use that area for items we do not need to get to often.
