27HFS owners, some general Q's.

I have a couple questions, read a lot here but have a couple questions.

1. Anyone pull the gen compartment out/apart to make a pass through, I cant see myself ever installing a gen set in there.

2. Bedroom wall. Anyone mod this wall, it is a pain to get into the bed and out of (well one of us)? I know the awning, slide out and light switches are there, maybe leave a 1' wall so you could swing your legs around that to get out?

3. Maybe I missed it, but can you use that gas fitting near the steps to run a grill, if so what fitting would you need to attach there? I understand it is after the pressure regulator so that poses a slight problem or not?

4. Why is there no fan switch in the "bathroom", there is one in the garage.

5. Inverters, I know several have installed them, I have two that are going to get installed, 1 pure sine wave for the TV, other for general light/fans use, where did you run your outlets for those? Are the outlets we have considered brown or black? Seen brown and white online for sale no black.

HI, I have the same model unit

1, I think the bed would become unstable if you took it out you will have to make a new base for the bed, I like having the separate little compartment. I store our quick fill fuel stuff in there so it doesn't stink up the garage area, one thing i did notice about the metal box is that it did trap a lot of condensation in there, i think the door was either left open or something wet got put away

2 yes the wall is some what of a pain but i think it adds stability to the trailer, I wouldn't take it out

3 i believe you can buy a fitting at camping world to connect that to your gas grill if you wanted too

4. I ask the same question "why no switch for the fan", i can just about reach it and I'm 5-11

5 Our unit has a built in inverter for the lighting other built in items, I have not tried a coffee pot however the refrigerator and the microwave and bed lift work just fine with the built in one , we don't have a TV so it hasn't become an issue for us.
