Reality check: giving a second use for the loading ramp, adds square footage; a clean and safe place for the kiddos or pets... it ain't big enough for a real party. And what makes it VIP? Interesting marketing tactic "VIP".

It is strong enough for my little 'party'. But, "PARTY" I don't think so.

I once had a Greywolf 21RR and rigged up a ground support "system" with 2x4s and a base. But, the the slope of some sites, it didn't work all that well. So, I had the material to build a system with pipes (pipe within a pipe with bases, drilled to allow various lengths with pins) so it would be adjustable, but sold the TH before I made them. My idea was to make three and place one on each side and one in the middle at the foot of the ramp.

I suppose various lengths of pipe would work but what a setup hassle. I have attached these BAL C-Series Jack 28 - $81.96 to a beam made of three 1x4"s forming an "H-beam". Yet to find a site I couldn't set up on.

Only hassle is transport. It is a little heavy, (estimate 40 lbs) and I just sit the beam on the floor of the TH.

Thank you all again for the information. I have several ideas I am thinking about. One I have is a combination of labs' and wolf's plans. It is taking some decent gauge square tubing and making a support frame that would bolt directly to the door and have a place to hook cables to and to compensate for the rise from the pipe take a piano hinge, some 1x1 aluminum square tubing, and diamond plate to make a ramp to bridge the gap. My other idea is to make a support frame attached to the door that would have the the C jacks. Both are going to add support but may not make the camper cosmetically appealing. What is your alls opinion on those ideas?

Most camp sites I can't put the gate down, no room. I need to unload the bikes and then back up to my parking spot. So I've opted to not make this mod.
