27hfs xlr grill for use with the quick discnt.

ok, so my xlr2hfs has a quick disconnect for the lp near the front door.. what are your suggestions for an outside grill and what hose would that take ? if you have one, what grill did you get ?

You can use any grill you want as long it doesn't have it's own propane regulator as propane line you're connecting to is already low pressure. Some grills have a removable regulator that would require some re-piping. The parts that you'd need to pipe it to a male quick connect should be readily available at any BBQ part supply outlet.

What would it do if my grill has a regulator on it as well? Will it not supply enough propane to the grill?

I went with the cheaper Camco and used that with the RV side mount rails. It looks like that Camco isn't sold anymore, but the more expensive stainless steel one is. That came with support to run to the camper quick connect line as well had a regulator to run directly off the tank.

Get a Coleman Road Trip and remove the regulator on the inlet contraption that comes with it and run a gas hose to the quick connect. Works like a charm. If you don't remove the Coleman regulator it won't get enough flow because it's double regulated.

ejkkj - I have one of those, but the connection on my camper looks like a high pressure air hose. Here is a pic of what it looks like:

No, mine is different. I have Coleman Road trip grill. I went to dealer and they sold me parts, but when I got home I found it is wrong connection.
So I have been looking for the parts too. Next time I go to dealer will take RV to make sure it is right. Good luck...
