My wife and I got to go look at a 27 and a 29 this past weekend at a dealer in MA. I was happy to see the garage is flat and no beaver tail. That will be much easier to put our goldwing up on the center stand if need be.

EricV ... Just a suggestion but a wheel chock like rhe Condor is great; I use it all the time. Just drive onto it and walk away. No need for center or side kick stand. I use it when hauling it., too. It needs to be attached to the floor to aid in getting the front tire out of its "grip" but is solid as a rock.

Thanks WW
I saw one of those at a rally once, looked great. When I get the rig I'll be looking for installation advice.
Thanks again
Eric

Above is the HB chock that I use. Works great and I can take it out when I'm at my destination.
(Ignore the tractor next to the bike. I was testing out weight distribution. ...)

Got my condor off of eBay for $175 but it certainly isn't the least expensive solution

That's the same set up I use. Also, the OP might want to look at the Titan chock. Works great to protect a bike if you are ever in an accident. Don't ask me how I know that.
