29 hfs water heater basics

What are the ways to get hot water? I have only done it one way but I know I can get hot water electric and or propane.
I set up at the campground and go out and turn the switch to on at the water heater. So( I thought that was electric?) What is the other option. ..senior moment!!!!!

There is a switch by the control panel in the bathroom , right next to the pump switch . this is for running on propane dsi is direct spark ignition , The switch in the outside access panel is for turning on the 120v electric element . you can run both for quicker recovery . I find either one will heat the 6 gallons pretty quick .When plugged in i use the electric element and save my propane

Just make sure there's water in the HWH before flipping the electric element switch to "on." If the tank is empty, you'll burn out the element.
