2nd day and Happijac Bed problem

Well one day of ownership and I already had an issue. I went out this morning to see how it would work if I added the second upper bed to my high pass Happijac. I lowered the couches all the way down looked at everything then went to raise it and nothing. I checked the fuse all was good, wired to house 110 so plenty of power.

Broke out the owners manual and followed the TS directions and still nothing. Finally gave up and started to raise manually went about 6in and decided to plug back in and re-try. BAM it's working again, can this thing go to far towards the floor or something? Has this happened to anyone else?

Craig

There's two limit switches on the post that the motor is mounted two, you can spot them by the two small screws holding them in. Make sure the switches are working properly, with someone lowering the bed use a paper clip or something similar bent to reach in there to activate the switch to see if it stops, do the same while raising it with the upper switch.

Thanks for the help, tried this but it didn't change anything. Brought it back to the dealer this morning and it's already fixed, FR factory didn't adjust it right, tech said it was so out of wack he surprised it worked at all.

Must have had loose screws, then. I was thinking it was just not set properly.

All they said was it wasn't setup correctly, the things I noticed was the chain was really loose in there before and after it was very tight. Also, the beds weren't even one was about 2 in lower than the other and now they're perfectly level. When he ran it after they fixed it the chains were nice and tight and no more bouncing around as it went up and down. It just seems very smooth and stout now, they also said it wasn't lubed so they lubed it up too.

Seemed like someone at the factory bolted it up but forgot the rest.
