300X12 Vs 305V12

Anyone really compare these two (or the 14 foot garage versions). I am wondering if there is any real difference other than the V shape nose, and I am wondering what advantage / disadvantage the V shape nose has. It seems lie the 300X12's that I see listed often have a higher end interior making most of the V's less expensive but floor plan wise they are almost identical. Obviously a bit more storage in the X12 in the bedroom. Local dealer just got a V and from the outside it really looks sharp! I am just surprised that FR would make two basically identical units unless the V really serves a specific purpose. Thanks!

I can only speak for the V12, but for the money it is a very nice coach. I have a 6.5 foot bed pickup and the turning radius is awesome. If somebody crushes their cab with a V nose then maybe they should stay at a hotel. The decor is not so psychedelic and the wood work has all the same color tone. The downfall, is the V12 has 2 6000 lbs axles. 98 percent of the V12's when fully loaded will be over 12k pounds. We really like it, it tows well and does not throw the Harley around in the back. I saw no difference in fuel economy with the V nose either. Good luck in your choice, I don't think you can go wrong either way. It will all come down to preference..

Also probably a little more room between end of bed and wall in the x12 since the v12 has cabinets in the "V" behind the bed. I do worry about flying objects hitting the front windows in mine.

Yes I agree with plug the v12 is a very nice trailer. We love our and have camped in it every weekend since july1. Really shop those dealers there are really good deals out there. Make sure they throw in a better mattress the one in ours v12 is awful.
