340AMP Owners or Other Knowledgable Folks

With the main slide in can you "squeeze" up the steps and access the bathroom? Can't really tell by the floor plan schematics.
I got some preliminary floor plans for the 2017 changes and the 340AMP is going to 38' which is appealing to me.
Also it appears from what I see on the Thunderbolt website that the Onan Generator is a standard "mandatory" feature, true?
Appreciate any experiences, pros/cons you would like to share on this model.

I have a 2017 340AMP.

I thought the length was 40' 4" on the specs. I haven't measured it though. With the slide outs in you can still get to the bathroom as long as you are not too big.

I guess for the units made July or later they will be 38', or at least what I'm hearing from the factory rep.

I have a 2016 340 and their Is no way to squeeze past the slide to get to the bathroom with it in. Their is maybe 6 inches
