36DSX13 unknown key

We picked up our XLR 36DSX13 about a month ago. There is a key included that doesn't fit any of the locks that I can find. The dealer had no clue what it fit. Any ideas? It's not for the compartments or doors.

Probably for a locking hitch pin.

It's a brand new camper, so I don't think that's it.

It looks like a key commonly used for an outside shower door. Sometimes the CH751 Key will work for that door too.

I'm looking for picks of your camper but can't seem to find any that show the drivers side to determine if your camper has such a door.

Hope that helps.

It does have an outside shower and that is a possibility. I didn't think that was the case when I saw the CH751 opened it, however we all know these RV locks are not the greatest. I also have a door on the fuel hose box but that also opens with a CH751

My Flagstaff 27BESS had a key exactly like that for the outside shower.

If it fits nothing on your rig it might be for a padlock the dealer used to secure something to it, or immobilize the rig itself. I have some padlocks and cable locks that use nearly identical keys.

If you still can't find what it fits just toss it in a drawer. At least you'll know where it is if you need it.
