415 AMP bathroom access from front bedroom

In our 5er, moving from the bedroom to the bathroom in the middle of the night put me on the edge of the steps in the dark as I got around the open bathroom door. Today it was nice in WI so while I was running the generator a bit, I took a few minutes to flip the door over so the hinges are on the other side. Now it opens with much easier access from the bedroom. The open door sort of makes a "suite" type set up as it blocks the view of anyone moving from the bathroom to the bedroom after a shower for instance. Super easy to do if you have the same issue.

Thats a great idea, did you have to do any modifications to the door jam?

I just had to drill a 3/4 inch whole deep enough for the latch to go into. Of course there is a hole were the striker plate was originally on the other side of the door opening. The hinges are so light duty that there were just a couple of screws in each. Really easy to do, I like it already.

I'm going to do mine, I hate having to step down one step to get into the bathroom from the bedroom.

We had discussed changing our door to a sliding barn style or flip it to opening into the bathroom on our 380amp. The door opens up and rests against the top of the hallway window curtains. It is irritating climbing around the door down a step to enter the restroom. Has anyone else changed their door?
