Adding some Mods to the XLR,Post up Your Mods

1)just added a Winegard Travler HI-Def satellite dish and 3 more hi-def flat screens...2 interior/1 exterior

2)finished converting the step lights over to clear lenses with green LEDS and the front docking lights are now green as well to match the ground effects fiber optic lighting I had added previously.
Glows like an alien spaceship at night

3)added a dimmer switch at the "U" shaped dinette
4)added custom carpeting in the garage
we didn't order the Happi-Jac beds as we had them in our last rig and not only were they uncomfortable but nobody ever wanted to sleep in the top bunk so instead...
5)We added a Coaster Furniture sofa bed complete with built-in cupholders
6)the wife added a privacy curtain for the garage

i'm broke and i'm tired...Lets go Camping!
Mark

1)the mattress that come stock are very thin so a mattress upgrade is a must at the very least.
2)climbing into bed in a top bunk isn't so bad but having a child or grandchild climb down in the middle of the night for a drink or a bathroom break was a real pain as well as scary.
3)the ladders are dangerous and uncomfortable on your feet with the small rungs so I added deeper sheet metal treads to give a more comfortable and larger gripping surface and repowdercoated the ladder.
4)2 of the locations already had HDMI cables...so we added 2 more
1 in the master/1 exterior
hope this helps

Holt,
I'm pre plumbed for a W/D.
May I ask what that cost?
I've heard they really heat up the room...any thoughts?

Trying to add a Dish Network antenna and receiver that we bought at Hershey. When I plug it into the cable outlet, it's not working. When you placed that dish on your roof, was there a satellite inlet up there? Dish is telling me that the cable inlet won't work with the sat receiver. Old camper had both a cable inlet and a satellite inlet, but this one only has the cable, at least at ground level. Any advice is appreciated...

Taran,
There was not a Satelitte inlet or any prewire on my roof.
We dropped all new wiring and splitters.
We are with Direct not Dish but I don't think that matters in this instance.

I ordered it online and with LTL shipping to my door it was in the low 900's.

It's pretty bulky and a lot of fun to 2 wheel up the incline of the ramp by yourself...not.

I've only did one test load so far and yes you can feel the heat radiating from it during the dry cycle.

Yep and in the summer a two pole four wire solar dryer might be the way to go. ; )

The 1200rpm spin cycle seems to wring the majority of water from the clothes.

Busy day at Tulsa RV ranch.

Got my Gen-Turi installed, touch pad door lock and screen pull bar mounted. It's time for a refreshing adult oriented beverage now.

That beverage is well earned.
Was the lock expensive or difficult to install?

It was pretty pricey from Amazon, but a direct replacement for the existing lock.

We just love ours! When we are at the lake or beach, it's real nice to off to the water without having to worry about keys. " where are the keys?" That is worth it !
My 2 cents
