air bubble in the Dicor, you should check

Hi everyone. When installing the Maxxair vents yesterday I noticed potential for leaks. The dicor across the front nose to roof connection had air bubbles in 4 places that could cause a leak.

I cleaned them out, cleaned the surface and filled with Dicor sealant. No after pictures, not much to see. I used white and the original was gray.

This is something I will definitely be checking when I get my 30 HDS. I had the same issue when I bought my Mini-Lite in 2011. I also didn't like how uneven the sealant was, kinda like it didn't fill the channel all the way in. I bought the self leveling sealant and filled it in the way I thought it should be. Thanks for the heads up.

nice catch. I think this product is prone to bubbling. I think it skins over quickly and traps gases.
