air lifter air bags

with the deal going on at suspension connection 297. plus the $50 air lift rebate [good till the end of Oct] i decided to get the airlift 5000 . installed them yesterday on my 2003 2500hd standard cab long bed . with 125,000 miles i felt the suspension was just a little soft . something only a father would know . so last month i turned the torsion bars up one turn and had a new alignment . that felt much better . so with the deal from air lift i got the rear air bags on assuming the springs might have lost just a little over the years 90% of those carrying air 1500++lbs bed mounted pop-up camper .

At 5 psi the bags make the truck ride noticeably better . can't wait to get the TH hooked up tuesday for the trip to Fl and see how it does .

With the andersen WD i sit at about 32"rear [that's from the bottom of the rim not the tire ] stock is 34 . the front after torsion bar adjustment is 31&7/8 . with the TH hooked up they are at 32&1/4 so 3/8 difference from stock height . I expect to raise the rear only 1/2 to level ride and expect only 20 to 30 psi will do it will find out Tuesday .

happy with just the non towing ride improvement already
