Anyone seen the new 385AMP?
I hate to say it, but this trailer has given me the bug. It's the first 5th toy hauler in quite a while that seems to have been built for 2 people. And it has my wife and I very interested.
Anyone seen one? I cannot find any pictures on line at any dealer, etc.
Wondering if the execution is as good as the floorplan.

I toured it in a show and it is the nicest toyhauler for a couple imo!!!! a little heavy and a sale price of $85k at the show. the rep said if they get rid of the murphy bed and glass sliding doors and other crap in the bed room so I could fit my sand rail in ( a full size toy) it would shave apprx 2500 lbs off. sticker in door read 15000lbs empty. colors are still like all the other campers ( outdated and out to pasture ) but the lay out was the best imo over all others!!

Thank You!
Interesting read. I sure wish there was just 1 on the internet to see! I search about once a week.
Edit: Yea, found one. I searched under Nebraska and got one. Maybe the same one you saw.

The price though...

I love the front living room in this toyhauler. Its one of the best living rooms I've seen in any 5th wheel. I also really like the patio doors and the shower door. Downsides are I have 2 boys and this is definitely a 2 people toyhauler. Also I have a motorcycle and a golf cart, with a garage slide there is no way you can strap anything down on the slide side of the garage.

I talked to the rep and he said they could get rid of the murphy bed and add a bed on the happy jack system and with the removal of the slide they could then go to a 14' garage. I of course asked about removing the entertainment center and fire place since I would have no use for them in the bed room myself, they can and would.

Well, the lack of an exterior entertainment center is very disappointing.

I just purchased this 5th and love the front living room. So far the only draw back I see is no hanging closet availability. Also no coat closet. I will have to purchase a portable closet for this reason. Also noted that none of the drawers stay closed during transport.

Nice floor plan. Although, I gotta say, that your statement about this being the first 5th wheel TH built for 2 is a little off--that's exactly what the 30 HFS5 is for, too, just on a smaller, lighter scale. Which is probably why they don't make it anymore, not much demand.

No, it's not a front LR--never said that, just that it was a 5th wheel Hyperlite TH (which FR has now discontinued) that was a good layout for 2 people. It's a front bedroom with middle LR/kitchen, rear bath and garage.
