Battery Charging through pigtail

I have a 2012 40x12 XLR and I thought that the dealer told me that the battery charges while running down the road. Can anyone tell me if this is a fact?
If so, does anyone know which wire it charges through on the pigtail?

Thanks in advance.
Marty

Also your vehicle may need a fuse and or a relay to make the wire hot !

Look in your owners manual for your tv in the fuse diagram section.
