This is a first for me. I've seen three different dump valves, 4 tanks tied together with individual releases and so on, but never a set up like this. I was hoping there was a gray valve hidden out of sight somewhere or a cable pull somewhere to activate a hidden gray valve. Don't like this at all. Please let us knwo what happens. It will likely come up again.

Well everyone here's the update from my dad. He made contact with his salesman at funtown and advised him of the issue. Salesman made contact with the xlr rep and found out that apparently they were aware that some of the units left the factory with this set up and would cover the cost to repair it.
My dad is going to try and get his TT in this week in hopes it will be complete by Labor Day weekend

Wow, this thread had me all paranoid that mine was plumbed in this unorthodox way, so I had to go out and look at it at 11:05pm.... Fortunately, mine is plumbed correctly--I can open the gray without having to open the black, and vice-versa. Now I just have to decide if I want to replace my valves with electric or cable valves, as mine (esp the gray) are just way too far under the rig to get to easily.

I moved the front grey handle back... and added a cable actuated valve to the black tank. I really don't like crawling under to get to it.. especially at a dump station. And, I'm fresh out off HazMat suits.

Well funtown service dept provided my dad with "we currently have a 2 month turnaround". He's going to call the salesman and see what they can get done.
