Smile Black water tank flush

Just found this site, and not getting around very well yet. My question is, I just bought a 2014 Forest River XLR viper toy hauler. Just has generic paper work. I have used it once, and was trying to use the black water flush, and can't get it to receive water into tank. Any thought, would be greatly appreciated.I have read about other RV's and it seems some have valves etc.Hoping someone will have knowledge on this model

The most common reason for this to happen on a new trailer is that the backflow check valve in the line was installed backwards. From that perspective, the valve works, though the system does not.
