Insurance did cover it but as you know getting something repaired like a damaged upper corner of a brand new trailer doesn't happen too quickly. The driver claimed it was the first 5th wheel he ever towed.....

Great plan! We had a great time on the ride out. Very exciting. Stayed in a hotel the night before and got to Couch's in the AM. Stayed over on their lot to check for anything that might need addressed. They gave me a 50 AMP line and a water hose. Left the next morning. Stopped off at a Cabela's on the way home for an overnight and made the rest of the trip the following AM.

That would certainly suck in a big way. I feel your pain...

It is true, but not sure Couch's should bear the brunt of the complaint. I would be incredibly POd, but at the transport guy.

As I said earlier, I agree completely. I don't think Couch's just hires random owner operators to deliver their rigs. Whatever company sent that driver to Couch's to deliver that rig needs to work on their vetting process...

On a side note. How do they compare to RV Wholesalers?

I cross shopped the two. Night and day difference. Brannon at Couch's was low pressure and answered questions by email even off hours like at night and on Sundays. RV Wholesalers took days to respond and when they did were short on info and high on pressure. Basically used a lot of lines about getting it done TODAY. Couch's also gives you a bottom line price without strings and RVW wanted me to get a loan through their lenders to get the same price. I wanted a cash deal and this did not appeal to me.

Brannon @ Couches is the way to go!
Picked up mine and stayed at local campground to shake things out before heading back to NJ.
Local dealers are not worth the extra $$$.
