Cargo locker 29HFS

I am building a box that will be installed in between the frame. It will drop down on one end and allow me to roll out my Coleman portable grill. It's big enough to hold the grill and misc items. It will be the space aft of the spare tire. I will need to move the jacks aft 8 inches to allow for the box to drop down. I will be adding springs that will assist pulling the box up tight against the belly of the camper so you can do it with one hand.

Update....

29 HFS
Attached is the grill locker that is nearly finished. I still am working on the counter weight that will allow me to close the locker with minimal force.

This locker holds my new Coleman lxe foldable grill and approx 24 " X 24" plastic bin. This will save room in my hauler and pick up bed. Actually only hangs down about 6 inches or similar to gasoline tank rack.

The locker interior dimension is 23" wide x 13" deep X 66" long.
It is in the void just aft of the spare tire.
I moved the stabilizers aft about 5 inches to allow space for the locker to operate.
It is constructed of plywood and hardware found at lowes. Cost is approx $100. Hardware, bolts and screws. Painted with Rustoleum black oil base.
T- hinges aft on driver side with end bent under and bolted through. This helps hold plywood up,less strain on screws. Ramp end that Click image for larger version

Passenger side has hinged ramp that allows to push in grill using the wheels on the grill.
I also put in a stop for the grill wheels so it would not bang against end of grill locker.
