Control outside speakers from phone.

I noticed that you could not control the outside speakers from outside or from your phone.

When I kick back I don't want to get up to change a song, station or raise the volume. So I installed a Belkin SongStream Bluetooth Audio Receiver and plugged it into the aux jack on the receiver.

Now I can control the songs and the volume from my phone without getting up.
I turn the inside receiver to max volume and control the outside with phone.

That's a good idea! I've got a spare one of those from a car I sold recently. It was a 2013 but amazingly, did not have bluetooth. So, I used a similar device made by Miccus to stream from my phone. Will have to dig it out and plug it into my rig's rear head unit that controls the exterior speakers. Thanks for the idea.

No problem -
This unit plugs into a 120v source so I plugged it into the 2nd outlet of my inverter.

Ah, mine is rechargeable through USB so I can just plug it into one of my trailer's usb charging ports when necessary. Already dug it out and will put it out in the rig when the rain stops...

The Belkin also can reach a phone 34 feet away.

I bought that same Belkin model to plug into the Jensen entertainment center in our TT. Works great with my iPhone and DW's Samsung.
