I have the same issue with mine as well. I was told that the advertised weight is without generator rear electric beds and fuel station. Take it to the truck stop and put it on the scales it cost me $12 to get weights

Now that you have had your for awhile how is it holding up? Went thru mine yesterday at dealership and was surprised how many issues needed to be fixed before they deliver it to me.

Yes under rated in my opinion I don't feel comfortable running so close to max axel weight. Empty the weight on scale is 9720# on axels add 2000# in the garage puts you at 11720 # on 12000# axels not peace of mind for me

Ugg! We ordered our 2014 Viper 305v12 and not arriving until Sept 10ish! Going CRAZY reading all these posts! We got the extreme weather package so we can do some cold weather camping in Northeastern PA. One thing...can any of you tell me if the couch is comfy? Existing TT couches never seem comfy for late night football games. We've replaced the one in our VCross with a real house couch. Keeping our fingers crossed for comfort in our new 5wh😁

I have a 2012 xlr 305 v 12 and couch back is very soft. Are you going to haul any toys? If so check the yellow weight stickers on the front door and on the side of the trailer. It will tell you cargo cap. I found out the hard way 1485# total cargo capacity. Not good to haul my Harley's or golf cart

The couch is very nice. Once the slide is out you can pull out the ends of the couch and extend it out. The cushions are in the pullout ends. Now, the air mattress that converts the couch to a bed takes some practice to get it just right. Just food for thought, if you did not get the A/C in the bedroom you might want to get it installed at the factory or dealer. That's our only regret. The bedroom does get some heat from the slide out wardrobe.

We are going to be loading 3 kayaks, 3 bicycles and occasionally a street/trail motorcycle. We passed on the generator/fuel option. Saved big $$$. Eventually we will get one but not needed now. Next spring. Thanks for the couch tip. But our worry is the actual cushions that you sit on. The best couch we ever had was in a 1995 Sunline! The Wildwood was decent but the VCross...just bad. I'm FORSURE getting that foot rest. I knew that when we ordered it...gotta stay comfy watching my Steelers. Although based on the way they look right now...I'll probably just go to bed Thanks for all your help
