The doors on my Hyperlite 29HFS are very hard to latch. You have to basically slam them to get them to latch. Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks!
Mine are the same, was going to ask the dealer about adjustment. But one thing I did was tap on the striker the doors latch to. I bent them in a little bit. It seemed to help. The other thing is, pushing on the door right at the handle helps the door close more squarely. If you push on the bottom of the door, it seems to twist and make them bind up.
Make sure all the mounting screws for the door latch are fully screwed in. Mine used to work loose until I used some loctite. Also, spayed some lithium spay into the door latch. Those two items really helped my hard closing door.
My front door it so hard to close, you can only do it from the outside using two hands. On mine the upper part of the frame is too small for the door. Dealer has stated FR will be shipping them a new door to have installed under warranty... keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't create more problems.
