I don't see any of your mods as helping in the payload department, which he hasn't addressed.

modifications don't add payload or towing capacity. They just add reliability and ease the towing experience a bit.

until you pointed it out i thought you had a 3/4 ton . we gotta kick you out of the club now and you can no longer state you tow a 29hsf with your truck . because it's impossible and you can't go against impossible . i mean towing a 1/2ton towable with a 1/2 ton truck just doesn't work . i'm even thinking of calling the weight police because you make all the 3/4 tons look bad and we can't have that .

I have a 2015 Silverado LTZ double cab with towing package. 5.4l, rated tow 9200lbs. I towed my XLR 29hfs with my Yamaha vstar 1300 and my wife's Suzuki Bergstrom 400 in the back from Atlanta, Ga to OKC and back through horrible thunderstorm. No problems. Rides and tows fine if you have the weight distribution hitch set up right.

well you're well over weight also , off to the weight police and into the poky with you . we can't have this kind of stuff getting around . it makes life tough for those of us that follow the weight rules . . on another note you really are over weight , and that 5.4 with the 29 in tow must be a real dog . just saying

All kidding aside that TT pulls really nice with the Tacoma...

I opened a thread since I didn't want to jump this thread, I just didn't get many responses so will ask kindly about my concern. I tow easily with a wdh and trans cooler gauge shows low temps, engine temps low, no swaying - so all seems fine but today I weighed my tv and tt and found that I am maxing out just under 12k lbs and my specs state total gross towing capacity is 11k / 12k. Should I be concerned ? Or go with it?
