Warranty

I never buy warranties, however, I broke my life long rule and bought a 7 year
full coverage warranty for $2,000.00

I have three slides and pull 6 to 8 thousand miles of rough roads a year.

It stand to reason, something major will have to be repaired out on the road somewhere.

Lynn

I've found trouble with finding anyone/dealer to work with xtnded warranties, outside of the dealer who sells them. But, if you pull/travel extensively, you'll need it.

warranty

They make too much money on them, Fr is plenty good enough, especially if you handle most of it your self.
Who will enforce them to honor the warranty,,,,,no one.

Regarding catastrophic loss, I assume you are talking about something like a tree falling on your rig, or an accident on the highway, tornado, or flood or some such other accidental loss. Check with your auto insurer - I have USAA and they cover such losses (less deductible, of course) on my 40' Salem for about $100/year.

Thanks for the clarification. Since such structural failures are specifically excluded from coverage in FR warrantees, one might suspect they have extended familiarity with the "problem". They would likely blame harsh road condition usage for extended periods far beyond normal - and I expect they have a well experienced team of lawyers and experts that would be very difficult to overcome in court. Perhaps our best approach is to do exactly as you are doing here - publicly identify the brands that seem to have unwarranted structural problems, get the word out and hope the message gets back to the manufacturer through reduced sales to better informed buyers.
