If its the same tec flame electric FP that ive got, its 1300W. most electric heaters are in the 1300-1500w range (~11amps) as that is getting to the high side of what you would want to draw through a typical 15amp circuit continuously (and not pop the breaker if their is any other small load plugged in)

Yes 14' garage, fits my tools and toys in it perfectly and works well as an office space and the odd occasion I have some company spending the night

It sits on the ground like a PV panel would; with two ducts (supply and return); with a small solar powered ( or 12v) fan exchanging air through a window or hole(s) in the wall. You are SO going to have to post pics (and maybe some plan schematics) once this project is done--including how you plumbed it into your existing system (if you did.)

My rig has the extreme package, and it was toasty over Thanksgiving weekend with just the 750/1500W electric heater running (you know, after the mouse destroyed my furnace fan.) It felt warm to me, but it wasn't that cold out.

I know, I've been too quiet around here lately...been trying to catch up on my VW forums lately about the TDI engine emissions scandal, it's been fun reading...😉

Funny Mr. T, I was toasty with the AC on... there is absolutely nothing to this talk about climate change. Notice they stopped saying global warming, with all the record lows. We simply need to travel far south in the winter and far north in the summer like the smart people do.

If on the TH I would cut holes in the floor... one supply; one return with a blower (solar powered naturally)... not my idea... this solar collector.

You have an excellent new year.

X2 Mr. T. Mine would have Lubbock Texas in her rearview mirror... so to speak.

A couple of days ago it was over 85F here. Low of 45 today. Most of the day in the mid 50s. The DW stayed inside all day.
