If we were worried about depreciation, we would never have any fun

Don't worry, that condition will quickly reverse itself once you roll it off the lot.

Ain't that the truth. No one would ever buy one of these things as an investment (unless you're Buffet and you just buy the whole company!)

Shoot I haven't retired yet either but the Goshen rally makes for a fine vaca for the DW and I (of course both our kids are in college...although they both still live at home--built in house sitters when we head out )

Guys I don't mean to hijack this thread, but if someone could perhaps PM me some information and thoughts on the XLR I would greatly appreciate it. Looking at the 2015 XLR Hyper Lite 27HFS or 29HFS to tow with my 2014 Rm 1500. Looking for thoughts on quality of build and overall fit and finish. Thanks!!

BTY - a picture is worth a thousand words and from this thread the pics are beautiful!

We are looking forward to it coming back from paint shop as well. I always enjoy seeing the custom paint units and how they turned out.

I'm excited to see it done and complete. The pics from the paint booth give a hint at the finished product, but what I'm excited about is the view as a complete trailer.

They will do any colors you want as long as you stay with the standard XLR paint layout. So, the design is the same but you can pick any colors you want. I had them do Ingot Silver to match my truck and Ford Magnetic as the grey. Very cool deep metallic grey. I can't wait to see it in person! The pics look washed out. I want to see it in the sun!

Awesome! Is there an up charge for that? Can you alter the decal design at all or no?

No, the cost of full body paint is the same no matter if you use standard XLR colors or if you have your own. You can't change the design at all though. It has to be the same as the standard XLR paint scheme. I did subtract one color from mine. All XLR color schemes come with three colors. I backed it off to two.
