Steve, just to clarify. I didn't pick the model. I just ordered fantastic fans in each of the three locations on my trailer and they chose the different models for each spot.

Which Fantastic Fan is the upgrade? I see multiple models from FF website.

Thanks for the info...

Normally if you can reach it we use a manual lift. If you cannot reach it we install the remote version.

BB,
Do you know if you can request/order the remote version even if you can reach it? My lovely DW had me install remote control fans through out our house. Having this feature at least in the sleeping areas will greatly improve my odds of staying a happily married man...

Thank you for time with the questions on the forum...

Steve, ignore my previous advice! Fantastic Vent has changed the design of their fans and now ONLY their covers can mount over them. I just found out the hard way after an hour on the roof. The area where the maxair and camco units need to bolt to is now hidden inside the fan's compartment and there is no way to secure their mounting hardware. I just wanted to warn you before you go through what I just had to. The Fantastic Vent Ultra Breeze screw directly to the roof so no conflict. I'm going to order three in black and the optional screens. They are better than nothing... albeit expensive...

Happy wife....Happy life...
And when you get your unit, install covers over the fantastic fans. That way you can run them when it is raining & leave the vents open when you are going down the road
