Fantastic Fans
I have done some searching but could not find the answer. Does the 29HFS come with Fantastic Fans? I thought I saw them at the camper show before I ordered my. Just don't remember. I will be calling the dealer but wanted to check with people on the forum as well.
Thank you for your replies...

Ours is a 2014 and does not have those fans. The vent in the garage is impossible to reach if you are not over 6ft tall, but there is a extendable pole you can buy to help you open the vents. I'm short so I cant reach any of the vents in the camper but my hubby and children are over 6ft and have no problem. The bathroom vent does have a fan, but it's not a Fantastic fan.

You def want them as they have nice remotes that control them to eliminate the out of reach situation....

Taken,
Did you also get the vent covers as well? I will be checking on these as well next week when my dealer is back in the office. He is out of town at a camper show and I don't need to bug him right now about it.

I have three vent covers here that I will install when I get the rig home. It's very easy. Get them on Amazon... Just a note. Don't get the matching Fantastic Vent branded covers. They are advertised as having much better flow than the competition. While this may be true, they accomplish this by using a much coarser screen on the outlet area. This keeps out bugs and debris but doesn't keep the rain out which is the main reason I have the covers. The Camco and Maxair units will completely keep out rain and water. I've had them on two previous trailers on which I left the vents open all season unless the AC was on. They've been towed in downpours and even were open during a hurricane one year and not a drop of water in the RV due to the screen design. The Fantastic Vent brand covers allow rain in during even the lightest of storms...

Taken,
Appreciate the suggestion. I will have to check out the covers on Amazon.
Thanks...

On my last three trailers, I went with the Camco ones. They come in black, smoke, or white based on the color of your trailer and to match your AC unit. Only $20-25 each. Oh, and don't worry if your fantastic fans have the power opening vent. It will indeed hit the vent cover when it opens and stop there but that won't harm anything. I called Fantastic Vent on this and they assured me that the power vent cover coming to a stop when it contacts the vent cover is harmless and their motors are load protected to shut off when this happens.

I asked specifically about this and was told no by my sales rep. I am finding from you Bob, that many things can be ordered but not revealed to a buyer or known by sales rep. I think many of these options are not mentioned on FR (XLR) website, as well.

In my bath, it was the 1200. Manual lift, 3 speed, non reversible. In my LR and loft area, it was the 3350 but with a wall mount remote. Power open/close, three speed, reversible.

Taken,
It's great to hear you can order the different models. My dealer is just quoting me $235 for upgrade. I have asked for a price quote for the different models. I know each dealer will not match prices exactly but having some ball park figures to compare against is always nice...
