First pull with New Truck

Just got back from our first trip pulling the XLR with our new Ford F350. It handled the trailer with the Harley inside very well. Plenty of power. This was also our first outing taking the Harley. Everything rode well and didn't have and issues with the trailer.

Terier, it's the Jackson Rancheria Indian Casino Campground located in Jackson, Ca. Rated all 10's by Trailer Life magazine. Very clean and quiet and friendly. Shuttle to the Casino every 20 mins, though we only go there for the buffet. Best part is its an hour away from us. Hot in the summer though, so we avoid it then and head to Tahoe or the coast.

It really looks like a nice campground and I should add it to my To-Do list. At first glance I thought it was the same place as in my picture but the green background told me otherwise.

Like you I go where its cooler in the summer months. I learned that lesson last 4th of July after a big blackout that lasted almost a full day with 100* temps.

Steve,

Congrats on your new F350... should be a really great TV for years to come (all you'll ever need).

We got our new F150 <3 weeks ago and really love it. Have been camping 2 weekends already (Disney Ft Wilderness, Turtle Bch, Sarasota) and plan to go again this weekend (Lake Manatee SP). Just added aftermarket leather seats this week and plan to keep it awhile... as long as I can afford to keep that 36 gal. tank full.
